Zero Turn without Grass Catchers
If you do not already have a grass catcher you will need to purchase
the Deck Adapter Kit (DAK). Please read the instructions for the
DAK before purchasing and read the supplemental instructions
specifically for installing it on a Zero Turn Mower available below.
In particular you will need to add a bracket off the back end of the mower to position the discharge tube away from the rear tire. (This may be a simple as a broom stick zip tied to the rear frame assembly).
None of these modifications are difficult. They will require simple hand tools and an understanding of what you are doing. Below is a link to print out instructions included with the Deck Adapter Kit and the supplement for Zero Turn Mowers. We recommend that you print them out and read them before purchasing.
