Chute Adapter Kit

This Adapter Kit attaches to the Lower Discharge Chute component of the grass catcher already on your Lawn Tractor or ZTM. You may need this kit if your grass catcher chute enters the side of your grass catcher hood. The kit includes a Discharge Tube, Chute Vent Disk, Lawn Mower Leaf Bag, and Hardware Kit.

When installing this kit on a Lawn Tractor you may need a bracket to clear the right rear tire and controls. A quick grip clamp will easily address this. See below.

Check the fender clearence over your right rear tire. The Discharge Tube normally sits against this fender but may rub against the tire depending on your fenders position. If there are controls to your lawn tractor located in the fender you will need to attach a clamp.

The simplist clamp we can recommend is the Irwin Quick Grip clamp with a 6 inch opening. It clamps easily to the fender without drilling, comes with non-maring rubber heads, is easily installed and removed, the tube sits on the clamp bar, and it can be purchased at any hardware store (see below)

When installing this kit on a ZTM you will need to create a bracket to support the end of the tube away from the rear tire. This may be as simple as a broomstick zip tied to the rear frame assembly. See below:
